Earthing system

Electrostatic mechanism
The generation of static electricity is inevitable in industrial production, and its harm can be attributed to the following two mechanisms:
One: hazards caused by electrostatic discharge (ESD):
(1) Cause the malfunction or misoperation of electronic equipment and electromagnetic interference.
(2) Breakdown of integrated circuits and precision electronic components, or promote component aging, reduce production yield.
(3) High voltage electrostatic discharge causes electric shock and endangers personal safety.
(4) It is very easy to cause explosion and fire in the production place with many inflammables and explosives, dust and oil mist.
Second, the harm caused by electrostatic attraction (ESA):
(1) Electronic industry: dust absorption, resulting in pollution of integrated circuits and semiconductor components, greatly reducing the yield.
(2) Film and plastic industry: make the film or film reeling unevenly; the film and CD plastic disc are stained with dust, affecting the quality.
(3) Papermaking and printing industry: paper reeling is uneven, overprinting is not allowed, suction pollution is serious, even paper binding, affecting production.
(4) Textile industry: causes the root silk to flutter, entangles the flower to break the head, the yarn tangles and so on the harm.
Antistatic in industrial production
In the industrial production, especially in the electronic production and processing and flammable and explosive production places, electrostatic protection should be attached great importance.
Esd20.20, IEC 61340, SJT 10694, MT 520 and other international and domestic industry standards can effectively prevent electrostatic hazards.
From the standard point of view, the main anti-static work in industrial production includes: 1. Making control plan according to production; 2. Personnel training; 3. Infrastructure and protective products; 4. Implementation of the plan, inspection and monitoring of facilities and protection.
Control static electricity in production workshop
Electronic processing enterprises often have a headache because they cannot grasp the occurrence of static power supply. It is suggested that the staff should not be afraid of static electricity. As long as the staff do well in all aspects of protection measures, static electricity can be completely controlled. The working surface of static electricity release or static electricity dissipation is an essential part of a static electricity safety work station, especially those manual assembly workshops, when using anti-static The electric wrist strap is necessary for clean working surface and properly connected to a common point for grounding, and it is necessary to frequently check whether the grounding is conductive.
1. Grounding
Grounding is very important to reduce the static charge generated on the conductor. The human body is the conductor and the static power source is grounded. Therefore, we must reduce the static charge generated by people who contact sensitive anti-static components or components. The static electricity generated by human body is best grounded through human body, and the grounding shall be good and effective.
In industry, wrist strap is the most commonly used grounding device. Wrist strap can safely and effectively discharge the static charge on human body, and it needs to contact the skin reasonably to play the role of a wrist strap. A dirty or loose wrist strap may retain the static charge leaked, so that the workers with dry skin and ineffective anti-static control must wipe the anti-static moisturizing cream, so that the path between the human body and wrist strap can better release static electricity. Conductive footwear or foot grounding can be used or to supplement wrist strap deficiencies.
2, isolation
Isolate the components and components from the charged objects or electrostatic field during storage or transportation. In the process of storage or transportation, insulator is the best way to prevent electrostatic discharge damage. Since grounding does not remove static charges or insulators, it is necessary to isolate sensitive components and components from them. Reducing conventional plastics and other types of insulators in static work, shipping, and handling areas is the best way to isolate products from insulators. Isolation can also be accomplished by limiting access to the entire work area or workstation. Finally, we take advantage of the fact that static charges cannot enter containers made of conductive materials or layers. This effect is called the Faraday cup effect. When storing and transporting electronic components or loading circuit boards, make sure that containers with Faraday cup characteristics are used. These containers will be isolated from electrostatic discharge injuries.
3. Neutralization
Because grounding and isolation will not release electrical charges from insulators such as synthetic cloth or conventional plastic, neutralization is important. Neutralization or removal of the charge naturally generated in the process work from the insulator is called ionization. Ions are simple charged substances in the air, which are produced by natural energy substances, including sunlight, lighting, open flame and radiation. We can make trillions of ions by using the ion generator, which uses high voltage to produce a balanced mixed charged ion, and uses the fan to help the ion drift to the object or area for neutralization. Ionization can neutralize the static charge on the insulator in five seconds, so it can reduce their potential damage. Through ionization, Zhonghe is not a substitute for grounding or isolation, and ionization only reduces the possibility or risk of electrostatic discharge accidents.
4, prevention
Prevention is another important measure or device for you. This is the most critical factor in electrostatic discharge control. Other people or you must be aware of the danger of electrostatic discharge when working with electronic components. Understanding them and adapting to them will be more important than any electrostatic discharge control material.
