Capacity is climbing, Changxin storage: the product has passed the production line verification of some leading enterprises

At Changxin Storage Technology Co., Ltd., a device from all over the world is being installed and debugged in full swing, Xinhua reported. This is a memory chip design and manufacturing project launched by Changxin storage in 2019, which brings win-win business opportunities to global semiconductor equipment and consumables suppliers.

Liu Hongyu, executive vice president of Changxin storage, said that the company's products have passed the production line verification of some leading enterprises, and the production capacity is climbing. This year, it plans to produce 40000 12 inch wafers per month.

Affected by the epidemic, a large number of international flights were cancelled, and the original import plan of Changxin storage could not be implemented. With the help of Airport Office of Hefei Economic and Technological Development Zone, on the evening of March 25, a Boeing 747 full cargo plane carrying two 34 ton precision equipment landed at Hefei Xinqiao International Airport, which solved the urgent problem of equipment import.

On September 20, 2019, Changxin memory chip self manufacturing project was put into production. The total investment of the project is about 150 billion yuan, and the design capacity of the first phase is 120000 wafers per month.

In addition, Hefei yisiwei Material Technology Co., Ltd. produced COF tape for display chip, which was mass produced at the end of last year, Xinhua reported. In the past, the coir tape was mainly produced in South Korea, Japan and other places, and the epidemic hindered the overseas supply. Chen Wenyong, head of the company, said that the products have been sent to a number of domestic enterprises for trial use, to estimate the future output increase, and to help supplement the global industrial chain.
